MANAGER He is 131-155 since taking over for Fredi Gonzalez in May 2016. BENCH COACH Weiss was an All-Star shortstop with the Braves. He replaces Terry Pendleton. FIRST-BASE COACH Young is the father of former Brave Eric Young Jr. He has coached on the staffs of the Astros and Diamondbacks. The Atlanta Braves announced a new roster of coaches for the 2018 baseball season.

Returning as manager is Brian Snitker, whose team went 72-90 in his first full season at the helm. Popular ex-Braves Terry Pendleton and Eddie Perez were dropped from the staff and Walt Weiss was hired as the new bench coach.

New general manager Alex Anthopoulos indicated, he plans no changes this winter to the revamped coaching staff.
