Andruw Jones came to Braves camp as a guest instructor Thursday. His arrival came on the first day of full-squad workouts, and he’s expected to help for a couple of weeks, according to manager Brian Snitker.

Hall of Fame manager Bobby Cox already is in central Florida. The Braves expect Chipper Jones, among other franchise alumni, to work their way down this spring.

“It’s good that he’s going to be here for a couple weeks,” manager Brian Snitker said. “We utilize him, the experience, everything he’s got. And he’s more than willing to help these guys out, too.”

Jones, who played for the Braves from 1996-2007, is a special assistant to the team.
