Auburn men's basketball coach Bruce Pearl is refusing to cooperate in the University's internal investigation into his basketball program, according to a report by ESPN's Mark Schlabach.

Schlabach reported university officials have notified Pearl that his job as head coach is in danger if he doesn’t cooperate.

The school is conducting an internal investigation after former Auburn assistant coach Chuck Person was one of four NCAA basketball coaches arrested by the FBI in September in connection to corruption inside college basketball recruiting.

Pearl, who has coached at Auburn since 2014, was fired from Tennessee in 2011 after being charged by the NCAA with unethical conduct after recording a 145-61 record with the Volunteers.
