My choice for Atlanta United’s man of the following Sunday’s 0-0 draw with New York Red Bulls:

BRAD GUZAN

Goalkeeper

Why: He finished with three saves, including two point-blank stops in the second half to keep his team in the game.

The first stop came inches from the goal line on a shot from Bradley Wright-Phillips off a cross from Sacha Kljestan. The second was a header from Gonzalo Veron from around six yards away.

“He performed just like the professional that he is,” Atlanta United manager Gerardo Martino said. “It wasn’t his turn to play with the national team but he returned here and did his job for us.”
