Atlanta United fullback Greg Garza is expected to miss 7-10 days after suffering a separated shoulder during the MLS All-Star game in Chicago at Soldier Field.

On that timeline, Garza would miss just Sunday’s game at Sporting KC. The team won’t play again until it is at D.C. United on Aug. 23.

Garza, 25, leads MLS defenders in chances created (26) this season. He is on loan to Atlanta United from Tijuana in LIGA MX.

Garza sustained the injury within the first three minutes of the All-Star game. He said after the game, while standing in the locker room, that he wasn’t in any pain and that he was looking forward to playing in next year’s All-Star game.
