Two Atlanta United academy players were called into the U.S. Under-17 preliminary team that will face England, Netherlands and Brazil in friendly matches in Lakewood Ranch, Fla.

Fullback George Bello, who will join Atlanta United’s senior roster as a Homegrown player in January, and forward Daniel Mangarov of Duluth were among 24 players selected by manager John Hackworth.

The U.S. will play England on Nov. 29, Netherlands on Dec. 1 and Brazil on Dec. 3.

Bello and Mangarov were part of the Atlanta United academy team that won the U-15/16 Developmetal Academy national title.
