‘Love Is’

The new drama, created by Mara Brock Akil ("Girlfriends") and Salim Akil ("Jumping the Broom") will air on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network according to Variety. The Akils will also serve as executive produces in this series that's based on their relationship. It tells the story of a power couple who's navigating the landscape of Black Hollywood. 

What are they looking for?

A male or female DJ with real experience working with vinyl and an old-fashioned mix station is needed for a nightclub scene set in the late 1990s. You should have a hip, young look and a style that would work for the time period.

When are they filming?

The date hasn’t been set yet but will be sometime after Feb. 23.

How much does it pay?

Pay has yet to be determined.
