Now casting: Michael B. Jordan series seeking young children

He was born Feb. 9, 1987 in California. His middle name is Bakari, which is Swahili for "noble promise." His acting credits include "The Wire," "Creed," and "Black Panther." He's worked alongside Sylvester Stallone and Ryan Coogler. He works closely with Lupus LA. His mother has the disease.

The Netflix sci-fi series follows the story of a widow (Aisha Wainwright) who raises her son Dion (Ja-Siah Young) after the death of her husband (Michael B. Jordan). Dion shows superhero-like abilities, and his mom must protect him from exploitation with the help of his best friend (Jason Ritter).

What are they looking for?

Kids who are between 6-9 years old and are Hispanic-, Middle Eastern- or East Indian-looking are needed for a birthday party scene. They must not have worked on “Raising Dion” before and need to have a Georgia Department of Labor certification number.

When are they filming?

Filming is in Midtown Atlanta on Sept. 24-26. Kids should be available all day without restriction.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $75 for eight hours.
