Now casting: Fox show ‘The Resident’ seeking extras

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta's film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City's latest casting call for your chance at fame.

The medical drama pilot airs on Fox and will star Matt Czuchry of CBS’s “The Good Wife,” who will portray a tough senior resident. Devon Pravesh also stars as an idealistic young doctor.

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being cast:

Riders – men and women with bikes/mountain bikes to portray racers (Subject: "Bike")

Kids – kids age 6 to 12 to work with their guardians for a bike race scene (Subject: "Kids")

Spectators with cars – men and women with cars that aren't black or white to portray spectators at a bike race (Subject: "Cars")

Spectators – men and women to portray spectators at a bike race (Subject: "Fan")

Visitors – men and women to portray hospital visitors (Subject: "Visitor25")

When are they filming?

Filming will be in Conyers on Sept. 25.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $64 for eight hours for most roles. The bike role’s pay is yet to be determined but will come with a $15 bike bump. Spectators with cars will receive a $25 car bump.

How do I submit?

If you're submitting for a role with your bike or car, include a photo of them. Children who submit for the kids' role need to be registered with Central Casting.
