Now casting: Channing Tatum film seeking woman inmates

Are you ready to make your mark on Atlanta's film and TV industry? Are you the next Tyler Perry? ATL is in need of young stars. Check out the Peach City's latest casting call for your chance at fame.

The scripted TV series is based on the popular “Step Up” film franchise and will air on YouTube Red, a subscription video service. It will focus on the world of Atlanta hip hop and dance.

"Step Up: High Water" is being executive produced by Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan Tatum, who co-starred in the original film. It stars Atlanta's own Ne-Yo, along with Naya Rivera ("Glee") and Faizon Love ("Couples Retreat").

What are they looking for?

Women of all ethnicities, age 21 and up, are needed to portray the following types of inmates:

  • Homeless
  • Street walkers
  • DUI
  • Rough/strong

When are they filming?

Filming will take place in Atlanta on Aug. 18. Preliminary call time is at 8 a.m., and you should have open availability on this day and be prepared for a 12-hour work day.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $64 for eight hours.

Include two photos (one headshot and one fully body) as well as your name, phone number, age, height, weight, sizes (shirts, pants, jacket, etc.) and whether you have any visible tattoos, and if so, where they are.
