One person was killed Tuesday morning in Forsyth County in a head-on collision in which a van crossed a median, a sheriff’s spokesman said.

The incident happened on Mathis Airport Parkway at Mathis Airport Drive, according to Doug Rainwater.

A father and his daughter were in the van, he said. The driver of the other vehicle died.

The daughter told sheriff’s officials that her father had a medical situation, according to Rainwater.
