Nearly 200 voters restored to rolls after two-year Georgia data glitch

Nearly 200 voters have been restored to Georgia's voter rolls after a data glitch two years ago accidentally kicked them off, according to records obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

State officials said there is no evidence any voter affected by the issue was denied the right to vote during that two-year period and was turned away from the polls.

Records show the problem came to light in late August, after one of the voters requested an absentee ballot for the Nov. 8 presidential election.
