The cartoons that didn't make the grade, and one that did.

I liked this idea. I ended up not doing it.

Trump again dominated the week and his misogyny showed. This was my first Trump idea.

I got to thinking about Trump's tiny fingers on the nuclear button and it led me to this idea.

I came up with this idea before the first debate when the race was deadlocked and I was feeling panicked about the prospect of a Trump presidency.

Trump was so terrible at the debate, it was hard to decide what to focus on. One thing I noticed was how much he sniffed.

I thought Donald Trump's biggest gaffe was being baited into discussing the Miss Universe winner he fat-shamed. This is the cartoon I went with.

This was a sketch I did for a Facebook Live thing this week. A lot’s coming out about Trump’s corruption. I kind of thought this was funny, but decided not to make it an actual cartoon.

I thought this was going to be funny, but it just got too wordy.

When I thought of this it seemed funny, but not as much when I sketched it out.

Another idea that got too wordy.

Climate change is a major focus of mine, but this lacked cleverness, so I passed on it.

Unarmed black men being shot by cops is sadly, a recurring issue. This idea seemed a little trite.

This is the cartoon I went with. It was published on Sept. 23.
