Police: 7 kilos of cocaine, counterfeit cash connected to metro Atlanta homicide

Police say a recent homicide is drug related.

Chamblee police recovered 7 kilos of cocaine and $230,000 in counterfeit hundred dollar bills at the scene of a homicide Saturday night.

One person was killed and another was in critical condition after being hit in the chest during the double shooting, Capt. Ernesto Ford said.

The drug-related homicide happened at the Sierra Village Apartments, Ford said.

Investigators have not released the victims’ names pending notification of next of kin.
