How to get to the Final 4 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on MARTA

Sports fans cross the street after exiting from the Vine City MARTA station as they head for the Mercedes Benz Stadium.

The NCAA Final 4 will be held Saturday, April 4, through Monday, April 6, at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

If you’re going to the tournament, it might not be a bad idea to take MARTA.

The stadium, which is home to the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United teams, can be expanded to 75,000 seats to host events such as the Super Bowl, or up to 83,000 seats for the NCAA Final Four. In other words: it's big, and parking could be tough.

The address is 1 AMB Drive, a location that’s conveniently situated a few hundred feet from the Vine City and Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena (State Farm Arena)/CNN Center MARTA stations.

Here are some tips for getting to the stadium using MARTA trains:

  • If you're coming from the north: Take the red or gold line heading toward the Airport Station. Get off at Five Points Station, where you'll transfer onto either the green line heading toward Bankhead or the blue line heading toward Hamilton E. Holmes. Get off at Vine City or Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center.
  • If you're coming from the south: Take the red line heading toward North Springs or the gold line heading toward Doraville. Get off at Five Points Station, where you'll transfer onto either the green line heading toward Bankhead or the blue line heading toward Hamilton E. Holmes. Get off at Vine City or Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center.
  • If you're coming from the west: Take the green line heading toward Edgewood/Candler Park or the blue line heading toward Indian Creek. Get off at Vine City or Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center.
  • If you're coming from the east: Take either the green line heading toward Bankhead or the blue line heading toward Hamilton E. Holmes. Get off at Vine City or Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center.

Once you’re at Vine City or Dome/ GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center, exit the station and walk toward Northside Drive. You’ll see the stadium.
