A section of I-20 West at Moreland Avenue in Atlanta is open again after police closed all lanes for about 45 minutes.

About 10:25 a.m. Monday, traffic was forced to exit at Moreland Avenue, Atlanta Fire Rescue said in a tweet.

Authorities inflated a platform below the overpass as officials negotiated with a woman who was close to the edge.

The interstate reopened just after 11.

The woman was taken to a local hospital.
