All-region honors: The best local area high school football players

The Georgia high school football season is done, and the AJC has announced its choice for player of the year, coach of the year and the full All-State Team players, those picked as Georgia's best by the role they played on offense or defense.

The AJC high school sports writers have also compiled All-Region Team lists from across the state. Here are the best regional players from the 2016 season.
