Ethics commission to investigate mayoral candidate’s campaign filings

The state ethics commission is investigating the campaign filings of Atlanta mayoral candidate Keisha Lance Bottoms.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution revealed last week that Bottoms' failed to properly identify people and entities she paid for campaign work on campaign expenditure reports filed with the city and state.

The AJC's reporting also raised questions about candidate Mary Norwood's use of city staff on her campaign.
