A group of parents in Forsyth County say their children will pass two high schools on the way to class if the school district’s proposed redistricting plan is approved.

A lawsuit filed today seeks to delay the vote, and a letter was sent to the state Attorney General’s Office alleging the district violated open meetings laws by holding meetings where no notice was given and no minutes were kept.

The school district is scheduled to vote Tuesday on the proposal.
