Identity released of second body found in Atlanta house

The body of the second woman found in a house in northwest Atlanta Dec. 19 has been identified as Nicole A Sartell, 31.

The Fulton medical examiner’s office released Sartell’s identity with hometown unknown. At the time the bodies were discovered neighbors told Chanel 2 Action News they suspected one of the bodies might be Sartell, who they said had been reported missing since August.

The identity of the second woman found in the house was released Dec. 20, the day after they were discovered. The Fulton medical examiner's office identified her as Heather Camp, 33, of Canton..

The bodies were discovered inside the house in the 1700 block of Madrona Street by police responding to a person down call. They discovered a body in a back room of the house around 1:15 p.m. Dec. 19. The second body was discovered in a closet in the back room as police were investigating the house.

“There are suspicious circumstances surrounding this death. We are very concerned about what we have found,” Atlanta Police Capt. Paul Guerrucci said when the bodies were discovered.

“I don’t believe it is going to be a random act,” he said.

Neighbors Larry and Linda Powers told Channel 2’s Tyisha Fernandes at the time there are never any lights on and people constantly go in and out.

“Unfortunately there’s a lot of wrong activity over there and the door won’t lock,” said Larry Powers. “It’s basically easy for people to come in and out.”
