Dining hall food is seldom described as a perk for college applicants, but, if nothing else, we know how to feed you in the Peach State.

Business Insider analyzed the offerings from dining halls at hundreds of colleges across the country, and two Georgia schools made the top 10.

Kennesaw State University, No. 9

• serves more than 150 new dishes a week, including steak and parmesan-crusted catfish

• incorporates sustainable practices with an on-site herb garden and large-scale composting

• uses farm-to-table practices for fresh vegetables and grains

University of Georgia, No. 8

• five dining halls and four food courts offering everything from Hawaiian sushi rolls to New York style pizza to make-your-own salad bars

•  24-hour dining hall for late-nighters

•  to-go meals for students with conflicting work and class schedules
