A Henry County woman was arrested after she allegedly pulled a gun on another driver who happened to be an off-duty police officer.

Witness Roger Dunn told Channel 2 Action News the incident Dec. 29 on Rock Quarry Road was terrifying.

Quiana Glover, 31, was allegedly tailgating aggressively, honking her horn and trying to pass another car, police said.

According to a police report, Glover had two minor children in the car with her at the time.

Henry County police spokesman Capt. Joey Smith told Channel 2 the other driver was an off-duty officer in a personal vehicle, but he recorded some cellphone video.

“Hand gestures, motion and then he saw the firearm,” Smith said. “It was a pink or purple type handgun.”

Glover allegedly pointed the pistol at the officer. Shortly afterward, several marked police cars pulled the woman over.

She was booked into the Henry County jail on charges of pointing a gun at a person, aggressive driving and passing in a no-pass zone.
