Two men who followed a man to his subdivision and later fired nine bullets into his Cobb County home after a road-rage incident pleaded guilty to aggravated assault Monday, officials said.
Marlo Pinnock and Richard Perry face 20 years in prison with 14 to serve for the March 2016 incident that left a Kennesaw man’s home with nine bullets, Cobb County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Kim Isaza said.
According to police, Pinnock was stopped at a green traffic light when a man honked his horn for him and his passenger, Perry, to drive. Police say Pinnock and Perry were upset at the honking and followed the man to his Kennesaw home and fired one shot at him.
Two days later, the duo sprayed the home with bullets through a front window while the victim and his family were home. None hit the family, but the bullets did damage the home, tearing into furniture and walls, Isaza said.
The two also pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property. Pinnock pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge as well.
The men, who had been in the Cobb County jail for the past year, will get credit for time served.
