The gossip site reported Thursday that Garner filed for divorce, but it’s an amicable one. The two filed without a lawyer, and the petition and response were filed together, according to TMZ, meaning the filing was coordinated.

People, citing an unnamed source, said the filing is a "super amicable" one.

Garner and Affleck want joint legal and physical custody their children -- Violet, 11, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.

The two remained friendly, despite their separation, and were frequently photographed on outings with their children. In March, Affleck revealed he completed a treatment program for alcohol addiction.

Garner spoke about her relationship with Affleck on "Today" in August, saying they are "great friends."
