Miranda Lambert tells Cosmopolitan magazine in an upcoming cover story that she's still processing her divorce from Blake Shelton last July.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," Lambert told the magazine.

Although Lambert said she’s not ready to date yet, she did not say what led to the divorce.

"I had a great relationship with an amazing man," Lambert, 32, said. “So I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted."

Lambert told the magazine she wanted to live "a full life" but wasn't necessarily all smiles.

“(Living a full life) might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, 'Man, this sucks right now.'"
