Employees of this management consulting firm based in Norcross had plenty of time out of the office in 2015. The company, which was founded in 2002 and now has 61 employees held a company-wide scavenger hunt across Atlanta as part of a new-hire event, paid for Uber fares at the company holiday party at the Westin Buckhead Atlanta and rented a theater and gave the staff the day off to watch the new Star Wars movie, “The Force Awakens.” Insight Sourcing Group paid for the tickets and snacks. A family-oriented company retreat is planned for the Ritz-Carlton on Lake Oconee this year. A new initiative in 2015 is the sabbatical program, which gives employees a paid month off when they’ve been with the company for 10 years.

Families are a focus at this Cincinnati-based boutique business and technology consulting firm, which holds events with its employees’ families in mind. These include a Ladies Night Out that features massages and dinner for the female employees and the wives of the male employees, an annual summer picnic, an outing to shoot sporting clays and the company’s annual holiday party, which features dinner and dancing. Its 200 employees – which include 58 in Metro Atlanta – and their families receive medical and dental health plans, short- and long-term disability, life insurance, a 401(k) and a wellness program. SEI-Atlanta, which was No. 2 on last year’s list, boasts that it offers its employees “a sense of community, security and mutual trust and respect.”

Integrated Financial Group has been selected to various lists of top financial firms and offers its employees group life, health, a matching 401(k) plan, vacation time and sick leave. Employees can participate in its Toys for Tots campaign and advisors are invited to an annual two-day retreat in Atlanta. Growth has taken this Atlanta-based financial planning company from 55 employees to 69 in the Atlanta area in the past year and up from fifth to fourth on Top Small Workplace list. It plans to add 10 more positions to the 138 it has around the country this year. Integrated Financial, which says its employees have more than 1,000 years of experience, provides payroll, benefits and staffing, technology support, and office management and business consulting services.

The family-oriented atmosphere extends to the employees of this Duluth technology company that was founded in 2001 and now has 81 associates, 62 in the Atlanta area. Company get-togethers last year included a “When Techy Meets Tacky” white elephant gift exchange and tacky Christmas sweater and a Halloween party. They receive a full benefits package, including medical, dental and vision, short- and long-term disability, life insurance and a matching 401(k) program. Employees also receive paid time off for personal days, vacation and community outreach, such as Habitat for Humanity. VeriStor, which implements and manages IT solutions that fuel business productivity, encourages an energetic company culture with a vibrant environment.
