‘Star’

Lee Daniels' Fox musical drama tells the story of a girl named Star (Jude Demorest) who travels to Atlanta with her sister Simone (Brittany O'Grady) and spoiled rich girl Alexandra (Ryan Destiny) to try to become famous as a girl group. Queen Latifah portrays Star and Simone's godmother.

What are they looking for?

The following roles are being filled, and only new faces are being sought:

  • Nurses: Men and women who have experience as an operating room or regular nurse are sought for a featured spot.
  • Dancers: Men and women, age 18 to 25, are needed to portray dancers. You must have your own dance clothing.
  • Choreographer: Men and women, age 27 to 35, are needed. You must have your own dance clothing.
  • Passerby: Men and women in their 20s to 50s will portray patrons walking on the street.

When are they filming?

Filming will take place on Feb. 14 in Atlanta for dancers, choreographers and passersby. Nurses will film on Feb. 16.

How much does it pay?

Pay is $64 for eight hours of work.
