Their high school coaches were Sonny Smart of Bainbridge (Georgia's Kirby Smart), George Bobo of Thomasville (Colorado State's Mike Bobo), Bill Napier of Murray County (Louisiana's Billy Napier), Jerry Sharp of Darlington (South Carolina's Will Muschamp) and T. McFerrin of Elbert County (Georgia Southern's Chad Lunsford).
