Rick Tomberlin is the new head coach at Appling County, his alma mater. Appling is the ninth school for which Tomberlin has been a head coach. Only two men - current Miller County coach Brent Miller and retired Savannah Christian coach Jack Miller - have been head coaches at more Georgia schools. Below are those with six or more career stops, plus eight active coaches with five. This list includes only coaches who have spent most of their careers in the GHSA, or current coaches.
