Calhoun's Hal Lamb

Calhoun’s Hal Lamb has the most victories of any coach in this decade. He’s only 12 wins from tying the record for the most victories by a coach in a decade. Valdosta’s Nick Hyder was 125-10 in 1980-89. What’s also interesting is that his father, Ray Lamb, was the co-leader in coaching victories in the 1970s. Lamb and Wayman Creel each had 98 wins that decade. Below are the coaches with the most wins in each decade since the 1950s. The schools listed are those for which the coach most recently coached in the decade. In some cases, a coach was at more than one school.
