Brewed by Terrapin to celebrate the career Atlanta Braves great Chipper Jones — and commemorate the recent induction of No. 10 into the National Baseball Hall of Fame — CJ10 is a kolsch-style beer currently available for a limited time on draft and in 16-ounce cans.
Like this ale-lager hybrid style in general, CJ10 is crisp, clean and strikes a nice balance between pilsner, wheat, Carapilsner, and acidulated malts and Hallertau and Hallertau Hersbrucker hops. At just 4.9 percent alcohol, it makes a refreshing ballpark or front porch sipper, and it’s quite food friendly, too.
Pair with
Terrapin recommends pairing CJ10 with Camembert or Monterey Jack cheese, or a ballpark hotdog. But if you’re at the Terrapin Taproom at SunTrust Park, try it with the famous Fox Bros. BBQ. Frito Pie.
