Electorate must support our president
I love this country; the freedom, the equality, the search for truth and justice. You can say we aim for the brotherhood of humankind. Yes! But sometimes that brotherhood seems to be leaving the neighborhood while the harpies hallucinate.
Aren’t our presidents, past and present, one of the brotherhood? They are. None of us are perfect. Neither are presidents. But we elected them, warts, worries et al. We should support them. We are brothers of the leader. That is the fair and square part. We support even the imperfect with the aim of something better, without squalls and squibs like children over the last piece of political candy.
As most mothers would say: Behave! (For the sake of your country.)

Medicaid in dire need of saving
Medicaid was created by the Social Security Amendments of 1965. The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program was created in 1981. Medicaid provides a social healthcare program for families and individuals with limited resources. LIHEAP helps keep families safe and healthy through assistance for household energy costs. This program keeps low-income families from freezing in the winter or dying from heat stroke during the summer, by assisting them in keeping their heaters and fans running.
What these two programs have in common are: they provide a safety net for those who can’t afford to be without government intervention, and both are in danger of being cut to make way for the latest trickle-down tax cut. We have two senators, Perdue and Isakson, who are keeping very low profiles, afraid to go against the party grain. People will die for this tax cut called reform, and the conservatives don’t care.
