Historically Black Colleges and Universities hold a special place in Atlanta, home of Morehouse and Spelman. But HBCUs and their role in producing black leaders may be in jeopardy, according to a guest column today. In another column, a historian scoffs at the accusation the AP U.S. History framework is too liberal, arguing, if anything, it’s too milquetoast.
