After a warm, and mostly dry week, metro Atlantans can expect a wet weekend.

There is a 60 percent change of rain Saturday, Channel 2 Action News Meteorologist Brad Nitz said. Rain chances increase to 80 percent Sunday.

But the rain shouldn’t lower temperatures too much.

Highs should remain in the high mid to high 80s for the weekend. Expect rain to continue into next week with highs in the mid to low 70s.

Currently, the temperature in Atlanta is 86 degrees, according to Channel 2. Earlier, Atlanta reached 90 degrees for the second time this week, Nitz said.
