Mother Nature must have forgotten it is still spring.

“Get ready for temperatures that feel like late June,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Katie Walls said.

The temperature is 85 degrees in Atlanta, with an expected high of 87, according to Channel 2.

"We're enjoying a lot of sunshine, blue skies,” Channel 2 meteorologist Brad Nitz said. “And the temperatures have been warming up quickly.”

Some places south of metro Atlanta may even see temperatures in the 90s.

And there’s no rain in sight until this weekend, according to the latest forecast. There is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms Friday night and a 20 percent chance of rain Saturday morning, Channel 2 reported.
