WHAT HE SAID

On flipping his commitment from East Carolina and becoming a Jacket: "The reason I decommitted from East Carolina and committed to Georgia Tech was the education. … I knew that Georgia Tech had a great business school, and you're bound to have a job after you graduate from school. So I decided that that was the best fit for me education-wise. And I like to run the ball a lot."

On Tech's option offense: "I'm excited because sometimes (in high school) I would get eight carries, sometimes I'd get 15 carries, sometimes I'd get two carries. So I'm excited about getting the ball, and keep getting the ball up to 30-something times a game and really seeing what I can do with the ball. Also, I want to see what it's like catching the ball for Georgia Tech because I know when they pass the ball, the players are usually wide open."
