Georgia offensive lineman Jamaree Salyer was expected to be made available to media after practice Tuesday afternoon, but wasn’t.

He was seen outside the Butts-Mehre building on campus after practice wearing a walking boot and on crutches. The nature and seriousness of the injury was unknown.

Coach Kirby Smart is scheduled for a media briefing Wednesday.

Salyer is battling for a starting spot on Georgia’s offensive line and is running second-team behind Isaiah Wilson at right tackle.

In other injury news, linebacker Nakobe Dean was not at practice Tuesday. He has been out with an unspecified injury for about a week. According to a report in the Athens Banner Herald, Smart told a local radio station Tuesday night that Dean has a sprained ankle.
