Georgia Tech accepting bowl ticket requests

After becoming bowl eligible Saturday, Georgia Tech has begun accepting requests for bowl tickets. The Yellow Jackets won their sixth game Saturday, an upset over Virginia Tech, which ensured they’ll return to the postseason after missing out last year for the first time in 19 seasons.

Tech fans can pay a $10 non-refundable fee that will guarantee tickets for the Yellow Jackets’ bowl game. Tech will learn its bowl destination following the selection of College Football Playoff field Dec. 4. The $10 will not be applied to the cost of tickets.

Various bowl projections have placed the Jackets at the Military Bowl in Annapolis, Md., the Pinstripe Bowl in New York and the Quick Lane bowl in Detroit.
