Breezy conditions and temperatures in the 60s will continue through the evening, meteorologists said.
“We will have parts of North Georgia dipping down into the 40s overnight,” Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Brian Monahan said.
Currently, the temperature is 69 degrees.
Metro Atlanta can expect breezy and cool conditions through the rest of the week.
Thursday morning will start out chilly with temperatures in upper 50s.
A clear sky will allow the sun to warm the area quickly, but the high on Thursday is still in the upper 70s.
Conditions are expected to stay dry and sunny until about Monday, when the metro Atlanta area will feel the effects of Hurricane Irma.
