This company will pay you $120,000 to spend a year at luxurious Mexican beach resorts

If your dream job includes discovering underwater cenotes, dining in spectacular gourmet restaurants, and relaxing in seaside cabanas under swaying palm trees, ready your resume.

Vidanta, a collection of luxury destinations and resorts in Mexico and Latin America, is looking to hire a brand ambassador and social influencer who will spend one year exploring their resorts in Puerto Vallarta, Puerto Peñasco, Riviera Maya, Los Cabos, and other swanky Mexican beach properties.

In addition to on-site dining, entertainment, and high-end spas, you'll partake in local activities and excursions, including art walks through San José, exploring ancient Mayan ruins, diving at the famous Acapulco cliffs, playing golf at the Jack Nicklaus Academy of Golf, and much more.

For your pay, Vidanta asks you to create photos, videos, and stories from your day and turn it into content to share on social media platforms. The goal is to engage would-be travelers and have them seek out the spectacular amenities you highlight day in and day out.

In addition to the $120,000 salary, Vidanta will cover your travel expenses, provide dining credits at resort restaurants, and cover accommodations for your year-long adventure. Home base for this "World's Best Job" is Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta in Riviera Nayarit, a sprawling compound with more than 2,500 acres of properties, resorts, and amenities just outside Puerto Vallarta.

"It's an understatement when we say that the 'perks' of this position are endless," said Iván Chávez, executive vice president of Grupo Vidanata.

The ideal candidate for the job has a background in sales or hospitality and knack for creating engaging content—plus, of course, a love for travel and new experiences. Once selected, the candidate will go through a rigorous employee training period where they will learn a great deal about the hospitality industry, destination planning, and other "life-long skills that will inevitably set up the individual for an incredibly successful career," Vidanta's statement read.

All applicants must apply online with their resume; a 60-second video is optional. Submissions are due by October 21, and the job starts in December 2018.
