The SEC is in good shape to land one of the country’s top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country.
Class of 2018 quarterback Joey Gatewood of Bartram Trail High (Jacksonville, Fla.) announced on Twitter on Thursday that he has a top three of LSU, Auburn and Florida State.
He didn’t clarify a specific order or name a leader among the three schools in his Tweet.
Gatewood still has three seasons of football to play, so anything could happen with his recruitment between now and then. Still, he definitely has the attention of LSU and Auburn fans, who will surely track his progression moving forward.
The 6-foot-3, 206-pound Gatewood has a four-star ranking with 247Sports, which lists him as the nation’s No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in his class.
