After more than 100 women and girls have come forward to read statements during the sentencing for disgraced doctor Larry Nassar, 20 more women are expected to speak Tuesday during the sixth day of sentencing, according to a report by USA TODAY.
Nassar’s sentencing was originally expected to be four days and end Friday, but more women have come forward and asked to make statements against the former USA Gymnastics and Michigan State doctor. Former USA gymnast Aly Raisman is one of several Olympians to make statements against Nassar during sentencing.
Currently serving a 60-year sentence for child pornography, Nassar pled guilty to molesting 10 girls and is expected to be sentenced this week for seven of those assaults.
