A panel of ATC judges will choose five finalists in this month, and the public will vote from Feb. 22 through March 22 to determine the winning design.

In addition to the thrill of sharing their talents with tens of thousands, the winner will also receive  $1000 from the AJC. Four runners up will be granted $100 each.

“The AJC Peachtree Road Race finishers’ shirt is part of the very fabric of the Peachtree tradition,” said Rich Kenah, Atlanta Track Club’s executive director and AJC Peachtree Road Race race director. “I look forward to seeing this year’s design and I am confident that the 49th running of the Peachtree will feature one of the best designs yet.”

The 2017 AJC Peachtree Road Race T-shirt Contest winner was Kevin Benton, a graphic designer from Lawrenceville, Georgia. His design, “American Peach,” was featured on a baby blue Mizuno T-shirt.

“I entered the contest this year to see how I would fare after a lot of hard work to better myself as a designer,” Benton said upon learning of his victory. “I’m very proud to say the least!”
