Things are slowly picking up for Dee Walker, the 3-star linebacker out of Colquitt County High School.

Though he’s already recorded 20 offers, Walker told the AJC on Saturday that he’s being recruited heavily by Kentucky, Missouri and Louisville.

Of those three mentioned programs, though, only one — Kentucky — has offered.

“Kentucky, I’m real cool with the coaches,” said Walker, the No. 92 outside linebacker in the country. “I get texts from them on a daily basis. Missouri just came on. I’m hot with those two right now, and Louisville.”

Another program that 6-foot-3, 210-pound linebacker has been keeping tabs on is Florida State. The Seminoles just recently began recruiting him. Walker believes he could be a good fit for their defense.

“The type of defense they play, it fits me,” said Walker. “I like that outside linebacker position.”

Walker told the AJC that he’ll likely commit at the end of the season so that he can evaluate every offer.
