New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller had similar ideas for social media posts.
On Thursday, Brady posted a picture on Instagram of he and Miller across from each other with the caption: All eyes on Sunday… #72hours. Miller posted a photo from the exact same moment on Instagram, but instead focused on his face. He captioned read, RETURN OF THE JEDI/ EPISODE 9 – this is the ninth time the Broncos and Patriots have played in Miller’s career.
When Peyton Manning was quarterback of the Broncos from 2012-2015, these games were must-see T.V. Three times they played in the postseason, with Broncos coming out victorious twice.
The Broncos lost 16-3 to the Patriots in the regular season last year, and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first time since the 2010 season.
This year doesn’t look much different for the Broncos. They have an offense that is struggling to score points, while the Patriots are once again one of the best teams in the NFL.
It will take an impressive performance from Miller and the Broncos’ defense, along with some consistent success from the offense in order to pull off a much needed victory on Sunday.
The Broncos are 3-5, and have not won a game since Week 4.
