Quinn: ‘Zero chance’ Sarkisian is going to Seattle

A Seattle radio station asked about the move and Jason La Canfora tweeted about Sarkisian going to Seattle.

Sarkisian, like head coach Dan Quinn, is close to Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, who hired him to his USC staff in 2001.

“Zero chance of that,” Quinn said when asked about the rumors. “I recognize you asking, but for us, there is no basis to any of this.”

Under La Canfora’s scenario, Jedd Fisch, who finished last year as UCLA’s interim coach and was on Seattle’s staff in 2010, would emerge as candidate for the Falcons.

The Falcons will have at least one coaching vacancy. Quarterback coach Bush Hamdan has agreed to become the University of Washington’s offensive coordinator after the Falcons season is over.
