Eric Rowe could make his way back onto the field in Week 10.
The New England Patriots cornerback practiced on Wednesday, per Mike Reiss of ESPN. Wednesday was the first time Rowe practiced since injuring his groin in Week 4.
Rowe’s participation in New England’s sessions bodes well for his availability for Week 10 when the team travels to Denver to take on a struggling Broncos team.
The third-year Patriots corner returns to a little different situation. He has a not-so-certain spot in New England’s cornerback rotation. Corners Johnson Bademosi and Jonathan Jones have done a nice job at the position filling in for Rowe and Stephon Gilmore who has also been out with a concussion an ankle injury.
Come Week 10 against the Broncos, the Patriots should have Malcolm Butler, Gilmore, Bademosi, Jones and Rowe available at corner. Butler and Gilmore will likely remain as the team’s starters. After the pair is to be determined.
