Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch is one of the most unique players in the NFL.

Among other legendary soundbites and tweets, he has publicly voiced his displeasure with the Seattle Seahawks’ decision to attempt a pass from the 1-yard line with Super Bowl XLIX on the line, he has made it clear that he doesn’t particularly enjoy media gatherings, and he has proclaimed his love for the city of Oakland, Calif. on multiple occasions.

On Tuesday evening, upon learning of the New York Giants decision to bench quarterback Eli Manning, Lynch sent out a tweet that strengthened his longstanding status as a social media legend and one of the most interesting individuals in American professional sports.

With one simple tweet, Lynch slammed both the Giants for replacing a two-time Super Bowl MVP with a player (Geno Smith) who has a career quarterback rating of 72.4, and the Seahawks, who made the bone-headed decision to attempt a pass from the 1-yard line (which was intercepted by New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler) rather than hand the ball off to Lynch with Super Bowl XLIX on the line.

Lynch and the Raiders are set to play host to the Giants this Sunday.
