It’s going to be a homecoming of sorts for Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Brice Butler this weekend.
Butler, an Atlanta-area native, will play football in his home state for the first time since he was a prep athlete at Norcross High School. After graduating from high school he never got to play in Georgia in college or his first first seasons. He’s excited that will change on Nov. 12.
Butler and the Cowboys take on the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in what should be a good NFC matchup.
The Cowboys receiver took to Twitter to express his excitement for going back home.
“I haven’t played a [football] game in my home state since 2007,” Butler said on Twitter. “This weekend will be fun!!!”
The fifth-year receiver has 9 receptions for 213 yards to go with 2 touchdowns this season. You can bet he’ll have a large cheering section at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown Atlanta on Sunday.
