Chicago Bears plane breaks down at Philadelphia airport

The Chicago Bears surely wanted to get out of town as fast as possible after their 31-3 road loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Unfortunately for them, the Bears have been stuck in the city of brotherly love for hours. The game ended around 4 p.m. E.T., but their team plane broke down on the tarmac at the airport. They were not able to board another plane until around 10 p.m., according to NBC Sports Philadelphia’s Derrick Gunn.

It’s bad enough to lose a game. It’s even worse to get beaten by nearly 30 points. However, there are few things more annoying than waiting outside of the airport for hours for a plane that for whatever reason cannot take off.

That can put anyone in a foul mood. Add that to the big loss, and while it’s not the worst Sunday anyone on the Bears has ever had, it was far from the best.
